The point is not that any single show is unmissable. The point is that the town now has a Wednesday-night option that does not require a drive to New Haven or Manhattan. For a downsizer or empty-nester who bought into a walkable neighborhood specifically to shorten the distance between dinner and live music, this is the ROI they were pricing into the purchase.
The last Food Truck Friday, then the pivot
The season has a soft opening too, and it happens on the Municipal Center lawn. The last Food Truck Friday of the season falls on Friday, August 28, at 1 School Street. Treat that date as the hinge.
